A place of peace and prayer
The Chaplain
Rev Canon Fiona Brampton was appointed as Associate Priest to the North Leightonstone Benefice and Chaplain to Little Gidding in September 2019. Ordained deaconess in 1984, and subsequently deacon and priest, Fiona has worked in Bristol and Ely dioceses.
'Little Gidding is a place of welcome and hospitality where all are welcome. God invites you to come and sit, and find treasure in the space - whether it's in the church, or the gardens and countryside, or in your fellow travellers. It's an honour to be here. I'm usually at Little Gidding on a Thursday and a Friday, but can be here at other times by arrangement. I'm here to be available to groups and individuals as they want, including helping to organise or participate in retreats. Do get in touch.'

Although we welcome groups of visitors and pilgrims to hold acts of worship in St John’s Church, any such act of worship must be arranged through the Chaplain, who has to check that necessary safeguarding protocols and procedures are followed.
Please contact Fiona Brampton as soon as possible to make the necessary arrangements:

This is a Church of England requirement and the PCC of Great Gidding with Steeple Gidding and Little Gidding reserve the right to lock St John’s Church if we understand any unauthorised acts of worship are planned. We hope this final action will be unnecessary. Thank you.
